The academy will commission about 743 Navy ensigns and 265 Marine Corps lieutenants this year.

The U.S. Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, will perform a variety of high-speed, aerobatic precision-maneuvers using fly six Navy F/A-18 Hornets.

Viewing areas for the show will include Ingram Field, portions of Farragut Field and Hospital Point on the Naval Academy grounds. These events are free and open to the public.

On Tuesday, May 24, the Blue Angels will perform circle and arrival maneuvers between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., followed by a rehearsal of their flight demonstration between 2 and 4 p.m. The USNA Pipes and Drums will perform in Tecumseh Court at 1 p.m.
