Software Testing and Social Media

Software testers unite. You’re not alone anymore.
Social QA – the framework for those too big to fail.
Social Quality Assurance
Here comes another paradigm shift. How do you get an IT group to think about the business of QA and sharing, without getting the APP/DVL community all worked up to the point where they want to develop their own wiki or social media layer instead of using something that’s already been designed, proven, and tested.
And how about their feelings? You don’t want tick off the developers either… cause you’re all in the …

Are you a real estate agent? How’s your business doing? Are you growing your network? Building your brand? Using the latest technology?

Editing a Facebook Fan Page Name

So you made a mistake on naming your new Facebook Fan Page. You need to change the title to correct the problem.  Simple right? Is it possible? NOPE.
Is Facebook making it more difficult than it is or should be? IMHO…YES.
The reason for Facebook making it difficult is so that administrators can’t change the overall meaning of the Fan base. Think about it. Modifying a Facebook Fan page from “I love Facebook” to “I hate Facebook” totally changes the opinion of the fan base.
So it does make sense as to why …

A true Facebook annoyance. How does an administrator or creator of a Facebook Group or Fan Page get to change the name of the group (or fan page)?
Groups:
You can change a Facebook Group name if you created it or you administrate it. An email will go out to all group members stating that the name has changed in case they think the name has changed enough to opt out. For example: you have a group called Cat Lovers and you change it to Cat Haters…wooops, kinda changed the topic of …

Google Wave Collaborates in Realtime – Some call it the next Facebook killer. Other think it might put Twitter to bed.
Why is realtime collaboration such a big deal?
Maybe it’s because we didn’t let them keep score during sports, maybe it’s because we’re all equal. Maybe it’s just because time is so short that you really need to have others help you get it done. Maybe it’s just because we don’t want to be alone (well you’re most likely alone, you’re just connected and alone).
Whatever the reason, reatime collaboration software is …
