So I’m sucking on a nice stogie the other night and this guy starts asking me questions like I’m some kind of expert. I actually felt like he was acting like a six year old pounding his father with questions while thinking “why don’t you just shut up and smoke that thing”!

Talk about something that ticks you off….
When you install AVG antivirus it asks to install a yahoo toolbar and default yahoo as the search engine.
Want to fix it?
Type about:config in the address bar and hit return – it will say ‘Here be dragons!’ but continue.
Then enter ‘yahoo’ in the filter, hit return and you’ll see ‘keyword.URL’. Right-click on that and select ‘Reset’.
Done!

Smartcard vs. Metrocard for PATH Service
So I’m back on the PATH – Hoboken to 33rd Street and I got to wondering, which card makes more sense.  No really, which one’s the better deal. There has to be one winner since it’s always about the NY / NJ rivalry.
The NYC Subway costs $2.25 per ride. The PATH costs $1.75 per ride. If we’re looking at raw costs not considering discounts and transfers, it costs 29% more to ride the Subway vs. the PATH.

While attending a program entitled “Early American Schoolhouses” at the Brick Academy in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, the instructor passed out handouts that discussed rules for students, rules for teachers, and punishments back in 1872. It’s the US National Debt Clock.

Just watch it for 60 seconds….
It’s churning out about:
$10,000 of added debt per second.
Translating to:
$600,000 minute
$36,000,000 an hour
$864,000,000 a day… A DAY! IS that right?

Now when they say citizen, does that mean every tax paying citizen, or just every man woman and child in the United States? 306 million is the estimate so….it’s every breathing US citizen.
Some say it has no imact on our daily lives.
Why don’t you think about it before you post your answer.
What impact does this …
