Allbusiness.com had a great post today that had to be shared.
Not like were a bunch of salesmen, but you’ve gotta love when you read something and you know that you should be paying attention. If you’ve ever read books like “How To Win Friends and Influence People”, and “Sell Anything to Anybody”, there’s really not a whole lot of science to it. Actually it’s more common sense than anything else.
So take a deep breath and try to read all 10, remember at least 5, and try to use two during …

2009 marked a new milestone for area residents who supported the Deputy Grand Marshall of the 2009 Newark Saint Patricks Day parade down Mulberry Street in Newark New Jersey. Didn’t matter whether you were Irish or not…as the saying went “everyone is Irish today”.
While it’s not in the grand scale of the New York City Saint Patricks Day parade on March 17th, it’s still an honor to walk on behalf of the supporting organizations. The event was held on Friday, March 13, 2009.
Those who march in the Newark parade also …

The Accent of Money is actually the history of money - and worth the watch!
PBS put out a documentary a few months ago called the Accent of Money, a documentary hosted by Niall Furgerson. Based in his book about the same topic -it’s worth a watch.
Whenever I refer this type of story, it’s interesting how people reply back about the “slant” of the piece. Over done? Liberal view. Keynesian demand side? Doesn’t matter what persuasion you are so long as the program makes you think about it (and maybe learn …

That is…unless business can offer something else – guaranteed employment.
I was talking with my father the …

Published in the Bernardsville News – Wednesday, January 28, 2009
To the Editor:
The community came together Friday, January 9th to honor and celebrate Officer James Hall, who had recently retired from the Bernards Twp police department after 27 years of service. We felt compelled to write to the community paper so those who didn’t have the pleasure of attending could feel some of the amazing spirit and togetherness the event provided.
Officer Hall served in a number of capacities while on the force, but none as dedicated as the role of DARE …

Cover the Vizio Light
One thing that consumers have learned to hate is the ridiculous manufacturing process of displaying corporate logos right in our face while making us think it’s cool and appropriate. Like we need to fit in to some social order that will be more accepting of us if we display our logos where everyone can see them. The corporate practice has to stop…and we’re going to help stop it!
Vizio televisions have flaunted their logo at us long enough. No more do you need to sit and watch your brand new 50″ plasma or LCD …
