As American’s we owe so much to our wounded soldiers. This year a non-profit organization called Team Red White and Blue, led by Army Soldiers and Navy Sailors will carry a football from Shanksville, PA to the FedEx Field in Baltimore, Maryland which will end on December 10, 2011 just before the 2011 Army Navy football classic  to raise money for wounded veterans. The first annual event is a new fundraiser and awareness campaign to bring attention to our wounded veterans and how we can all support them in their time of need.

The journey looks to be over 156 miles and the relay is scheduled to conclude at 10am just before the Mids and the Cadets begin their march on at FedEx field in Baltimore, MD. A tailgate and barbeque will follow the Army Navy Classic for supporters of both teams.
