If you’re going to the 2016 Daytona 500, most know that the newly named Tri-Oval tickets in the famed Sprint Tower had not been mailed out until this week. DIS finally delivered less than 10 days before the Daytona 500 with one of the most innovative tickets ever produced (and certainly the best looking) for Daytona Speedweeks ticket package.
The ticket office had mentioned that they were working on a new commemorative set of tickets to celebrate the opening of Daytona Rising. Created using what’s called lenticular printing, it is a multi-step process creating a image from at least two images, and combining it with a lenticular lens. This process can be used to create various frames of animation (for a motion effect), offsetting the various layers at different increments (for a 3D effect), or simply to show a set of alternate images which may appear to transform into each other.

Tickets for the 4 day Tri-Oval package (Sec 350,351,352). are the best you can get without sitting in the indoor boxseats above them. New wider seats (21 inch), better sight lines, and cup holders are just a few of the stadium amenities that ticket holders will see for the 2016 Great American Race.
But, for 2016, not only do you get the new “First Motorsports Stadium” you get a new high tech ticket…..
